Se tulisi todeksi, jos muille paljastuisi, ettei esimies tiedäkään kaikesta, ei osaa jokaista yksityiskohtaa ja joutuu kysymään muiden mielipidettä.

An Authoritarian Finnish Manager Eventually Loses It

I wrote about this in Finnish in July, 2013. I had just came back from lunch with a good friend of mine. His employer had just shown him the door due to “vision conflicts.” He told me that he didn’t agree to be the dog on a leash, who would bark when told to. My friend had made a serious mistake; he tried to develop the company’s business and told the CEO his opinions. The corner-office-boss could not take the attack.
